FREE SHADE TREES CAN HELP YOUR HOME STAY COOLER,

REDUCE YOUR COOLING COSTS

As anyone who has sought refuge from the summer sun under a towering tree knows, shade helps keep you cooler.  Properly placed shade trees can also help keep your home cooler and save you up to $50 a year in cooling costs.  The APS Shade Tree Pilot Program is offering customers free workshops and shade trees that can help reduce energy use and save money on electric bills.  At the hour-long workshops, you'll learn proper tree placement, planting techniques and care; and you can qualify for two or three five-gallon trees (based on the age of your house).  For more information on the APS Shade Tree Pilot Program, and to pre-register for a workshop near you, visit aps.com/trees.
